DATE: Sunday 15 December 2019 | 10:15am to 5pm.

DEPARTURE: Bus departs Kyneton Bus Stop 5, Cnr Piper + Ebden Streets, KYNETON at 10:15am SHARP.

RETURN: Bus returns to Kyneton Bus Stop 5, Cnr Piper + Ebden Streets, KYNETON by approximately 5pm.



The private grounds of Crofters Fold Estate - an artisanal, bee-friendly Rose and Peony farm and small-plot vineyard, with a converted shearing shed-come-floral studio, Highland Cattle, Black-faced Suffolk Sheep, plus new lambs and 2 Blonde Kelpies set among the dramatic granite country on the outskirts of Kyneton in the picturesque Macedon Ranges. Here, you will be guided through the Roses, hear stories of the land as well as learn of Danni + Ash’s bee-friendly flower farming practices.


The private grounds of Fleurs de Lyonville a bee-friendly, micro flower farm between Daylesford and Trentham. Nestled against the Wombat State Forest, Fleurs de Lyonville specialises in growing dahlias, along with other cottage garden varieties and an array of cool-climate natives. At Fleurs de Lyonville you will be able to wander through the grounds surrounding their passive solar home, as well as meet their animals that include two pigs, a small mob of black-faced suffolk sheep, Jon their beautiful alpaca and a collection of happy hens that help contribute to their sustainable farming practices. 

Afternoon tea & coffee accompanied by seasonal and homegrown sweet and savoury nibbles created by Chris will be served amongst their flowers. 


Included in your ticket is a seat on the 'Perfume Express' - a privately chartered 13-seat bus.

Departure: The bus will depart from Bus Stop 5, corner Piper Street and Ebden Streets, Kyneton at 10:15am sharp. We encourage you to arrive 10-15 minutes early. There is ample car parking near the bus stop.

Return: Bus arrives Bus Stop 5, corner Piper Street and Ebden Streets, Kyneton approximately 5pm.

There is strictly no private vehicle access or parking on-site at Crofters Fold Estate or Fleurs de Lyonville.




Like many rural properties, Crofters Fold Estate and Fleurs de Lyonville come with potential hazards; varying surfaces, uneven ground, steps, animals, insects, flora and fauna, allergens and water features to name a few. So, it’s essential that you wear appropriate clothing, footwear and maintain a watchful eye. Please remain within the allocated areas as directed by your hosts.

We always do our best to see that all reasonable care is taken in the administration of all on-farm gatherings & workshops. However, please note that all participants visit and attend these gatherings and workshops at their own risk. Please take time to peruse the full T&Cs upon purchase of your tickets.

And finally ... Whilst you are very welcome to wander the gardens as guided by your hosts, please do not pick from the gardens and respect the owners’ privacy by remaining within all designated areas.


Please note, places are NOT refundable. In the unfortunate situation that extenuating circumstances mean you are unable to attend, you can request permission from us via this email to transfer your place to someone you know (at your own arranging) providing full payment has been made at the time of the request. This will be at the discretion of and with prior agreement from your hosts. It is your responsibility to inform us of the full details of the new attendee including their full contact details and any dietary and personal health and safety requirements.


In the spirit of wellness and collaboration, we'll bring the flowers if you bring kind-heartedness and joy. This gathering is strictly non-smoking.


Crofters Fold Estate and Fleurs de Lyonville are working farms and this is an indoor-outdoor experience during December’s wildly variable summer weather*; which can bring anything from icy chills to blistering heat! We invite you to dress comfortably, come as you are, any photos on the day might be uploaded to socials; do wear weather-and-farm-appropriate clothing. Most importantly wear a smile!


In purchasing a ticket, you agree to being in any photos that might be taken on the day and published.


You will be provided with morning tea, a boxed lunch and a scrumptious afternoon tea. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements at the time of booking.


We will keep a keen farmer’s eye on the weather in the lead-up to the gathering. You will be notified in the event that we need to cancel or postpone the gathering due to a Total Fire Ban and/or any other such extreme and unfavorable conditions.


To save precious trees, you can bring your iPhone receipt and we’ll check off an attendee list upon arrival.
